StoryPic Privacy Policy

StoryPic is a children's learning app designed to be private by default.

What we collect

Nothing linked to you or your child. StoryPic has no accounts and no sign-in.

• Profiles, progress, and saved stories are stored only on your device. Deleting the app (or using "delete data" in the parent area) removes them permanently.
• Photos your child takes are sent securely to our server once, only to identify the object in the picture. They are processed transiently and are never stored, saved, or shared.
• Optional email summary: if a parent opts in, the provided email address is used solely to send the weekly progress summary. You can opt out at any time in the parent area, which stops the emails and removes the registration.

What we don't do

• No advertising and no third-party ad networks
• No analytics or tracking SDKs
• No selling or sharing of data
• No in-app purchases

AI processing

Object recognition, stories, questions, and narration are generated by AI services under our control. Only the minimum content needed (the photo for recognition; the object name and level for stories) is sent, and none of it is linked to an identity or retained as personal data.

Children's privacy

StoryPic is designed for use by children under adult supervision and complies with the Apple Kids Category guidelines. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
